COOKIE POLICY
Effective Date: April 29, 2026 | Ontario, California
| This Cookie Policy explains how IntelliHaul Group LLC uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website and Insight Platform. It supplements our Privacy Policy and should be read alongside it. |
1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used by website operators to make their sites work efficiently and to provide reporting information. Cookies set by IntelliHaul are called “first-party cookies.” Cookies set by parties other than IntelliHaul are called “third-party cookies.” Third-party cookies enable third-party features or functionality to be provided on or through our website—such as analytics, advertising, and interactive content.
In addition to cookies, we use related tracking technologies including web beacons (pixel tags), local storage objects (LSOs), device fingerprinting, and JavaScript-based trackers. For simplicity, we refer to all of these technologies collectively as “cookies” throughout this Policy.
2. WHY DO WE USE COOKIES?
IntelliHaul uses cookies for the following purposes:
- To make our website and Insight Platform function properly (strictly necessary operations);
- To remember your preferences and settings across sessions;
- To understand how visitors use our website and Portal so we can improve performance and content;
- To measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns;
- To serve relevant advertisements to you as you browse other websites (targeted advertising);
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats.
Certain cookies we use—particularly those used for targeted advertising and cross-context behavioral advertising—may constitute “sharing” of your personal information under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). See Section 6 for your opt-out rights.
3. TYPES OF COOKIES WE USE
The table below describes the categories of cookies used on the IntelliHaul website and Insight Platform:
| Cookie Type | Purpose | Examples / Providers |
| Strictly Necessary | Essential to the operation of our website and Platform. Without these, services you request (e.g., logging in, navigating the Portal) cannot be provided. | Session authentication tokens, CSRF protection, load balancer cookies. |
| Functional / Preference | Remember your choices and preferences (e.g., language, time zone, dashboard layout) to provide a personalized experience. | User preference stores, UI settings cookies. |
| Performance / Analytics | Collect information about how you use our website in aggregate form to help us improve site performance, content, and usability. | Google Analytics, Hotjar, Mixpanel, Heap Analytics. |
| Marketing / Advertising | Track your browsing activity across websites to deliver targeted advertisements relevant to your interests. May be placed by our advertising partners. | Google Ads, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Meta Pixel, The Trade Desk. |
| Social Media | Enable sharing of our content on social media platforms and allow those platforms to track visits from our site. | LinkedIn, YouTube, X (Twitter) embedded content trackers. |
| Security & Fraud Prevention | Detect malicious activity, bot traffic, and unauthorized access attempts to protect our website and your account. | reCAPTCHA (Google), Cloudflare Bot Management. |
4. SESSION COOKIES VS. PERSISTENT COOKIES
Cookies can be either “session cookies” or “persistent cookies.” Session cookies are temporary cookies that expire and are automatically deleted when you close your browser. They are used to carry information during a single browsing session. Persistent cookies remain on your device for the period specified in the cookie and are activated each time you visit the website that created that cookie. Persistent cookies are used, for example, to remember your login preferences and to collect analytics data over time.
The majority of our Strictly Necessary and Functional cookies are session cookies. Analytics and Marketing cookies are typically persistent and may remain active for periods ranging from 30 days to 2 years, depending on the provider.
5. THIRD-PARTY COOKIES & ANALYTICS PROVIDERS
IntelliHaul uses the following categories of third-party service providers that may place cookies on your device when you visit our website:
5.1 Web Analytics
IntelliHaul uses a suite of analytics services to collect data about website traffic, usage patterns, and user behavior across our website and Insight Platform. These services use cookies and other tracking technologies to provide us with reports about how visitors interact with our digital properties. Google Analytics 4 (GA4) collects aggregated data about traffic sources, page views, session duration, geographic origin, device type, and conversion events. We have configured GA4 to anonymize IP addresses and to disable cross-site advertising features. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Hotjar collects session recordings, heatmaps, and scroll-depth data to help us understand how users navigate our website and identify UX improvements. Hotjar anonymizes personally identifiable information in recordings and does not sell data to third parties. You can opt out of Hotjar at hotjar.com/legal/compliance/opt-out. Mixpanel collects event-based analytics data tracking specific user actions within our Insight Platform and onboarding flows—such as form completions, feature interactions, and funnel progression. Mixpanel data is used to improve platform usability and optimize the customer onboarding experience. Heap automatically captures all user interactions within our Platform (clicks, form inputs, page transitions) to enable retroactive analysis of user behavior without requiring pre-planned event tagging. Heap data is used for product analytics and platform improvement. All analytics providers are contractually prohibited from using IntelliHaul visitor data for their own advertising purposes and are required to maintain appropriate security measures.
5.2 Advertising & Remarketing
IntelliHaul uses third-party advertising networks to measure campaign performance and to display IntelliHaul advertisements to users who have previously visited our website (remarketing). These networks use cookies and tracking pixels to record visits and serve relevant ads across other websites and platforms. Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing tags measure the effectiveness of our search and display advertising campaigns and allow us to re-engage users who have shown interest in IntelliHaul’s services. The LinkedIn Insight Tag tracks conversions from LinkedIn Campaign Manager ads and enables IntelliHaul to build matched audiences from website visitors for B2B remarketing to logistics and fleet management professionals. The Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) tracks website visits and conversion events to measure ad performance and to serve IntelliHaul ads to relevant audiences on Meta platforms. The Trade Desk’s Universal Pixel enables programmatic display and video advertising across premium publisher inventory, allowing IntelliHaul to reach logistics and supply chain audiences beyond search and social platforms. As noted in our Privacy Policy, this advertising activity constitutes “sharing” of personal information under the CPRA. You have the right to opt out of this sharing. See Section 6.
5.3 Embedded Content
Pages on our website may include embedded content from third-party platforms (such as YouTube videos or LinkedIn posts). Viewing embedded content may result in those platforms setting their own cookies on your device. These cookies are governed by the respective third party’s privacy and cookie policies, not by this Policy.
6. YOUR COOKIE CHOICES & OPT-OUT OPTIONS
6.1 Cookie Consent Manager
IntelliHaul uses a Consent Management Platform (CMP) to manage cookie consent in compliance with the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) and applicable privacy laws. When you first visit the IntelliHaul website, a cookie consent banner will appear allowing you to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customize your preferences by category. Non-essential cookies—including analytics, advertising, and social media cookies—are blocked from firing until you provide consent or until a valid opt-out signal (such as GPC) is detected. You can review and update your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the “Manage Cookie Preferences” link in the footer of any page on our website. This will reopen the preference center where you can adjust your selections by cookie category. Your preferences are stored and honored on subsequent visits.
6.2 Browser Settings
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through your browser settings. You can configure your browser to refuse all cookies or to alert you when cookies are being set. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of our website and Portal (particularly Strictly Necessary and Functional cookies). Instructions for managing cookies in common browsers:
- Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Enhanced Tracking Protection
- Apple Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
- Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and Site Permissions
6.3 Global Privacy Control (GPC)
IntelliHaul’s website is configured to recognize the Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out signal as required by the CPRA. If your browser or browser extension transmits a GPC signal when you visit our website, we will automatically treat this as a valid opt-out from the “sharing” of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, without requiring any additional action on your part. GPC-compatible browsers include Brave and DuckDuckGo Privacy Browser. GPC browser extensions are also available for Chrome and Firefox.
6.4 California Residents: Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
California residents may exercise their CPRA right to opt out of the sharing of personal information for targeted advertising purposes by: (i) using the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the footer of our website; (ii) selecting “Reject Non-Essential Cookies” or disabling the Marketing/Advertising category in the cookie preference center; (iii) enabling the GPC signal in your browser (see Section 6.3 above); or (iv) submitting a written request to privacy@intellihaul.com. We will process your opt-out request within fifteen (15) business days. Opting out of sharing does not disable all advertising—you may still see IntelliHaul’s non-targeted advertisements.
6.5 Third-Party Opt-Out Tools
You may also opt out of interest-based advertising from many third-party networks through industry opt-out tools:
- Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA): optout.aboutads.info
- Network Advertising Initiative (NAI): optout.networkadvertising.org
- Google Ad Settings: myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy
7. COOKIES ON THE INSIGHT PLATFORM (FLEET PORTAL)
The IntelliHaul Insight Dashboard and Fleet Manager Portal use cookies for authentication, session management, and platform security. When you log in to the Platform, we set session-based authentication tokens that expire when you log out or close your browser. We do not use third-party advertising cookies within the authenticated Fleet Manager Portal.
Platform analytics cookies are used within the authenticated Portal to track feature usage, onboarding funnel progression, and user behavior to improve the platform experience. Mixpanel and Heap Analytics are used within the Portal to capture event-level interaction data—such as which features are used, where users progress or drop off in onboarding flows, and how frequently key actions are performed. This data is used exclusively for product improvement and is governed by this Policy and our Privacy Policy.
8. UPDATES TO THIS COOKIE POLICY
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, law, our business operations, or the cookies and similar technologies we use. When we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this Policy and notify you via our website cookie consent banner. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically to stay informed about our use of cookies.
